Based on the authentic La Poupée Modéle patterns, Barbara DeVilbiss reduced each garment to fit the Seeley FF body, Alice Leverett's Ultimate Fashion™body as well as an antique 12" leather bodied FF doll. Included in this ensemble is a Chemise, Pantaloons, 1/2 Slip, Hoop Petticoat, Corset and Stockings. The delicate set of UNDERGARMENTS is made of the finest Swiss white cotton batiste embellished with fine European lace from Switzerland as well. The lace trimmed Chemise neckline is closed with a pearl button giving ample room to put the garment over your doll with ease. Matching fine pin tucks and French lace finish the bottom of the half Slip and Pantaloons. Both have hook and loop closures. There are cartridge pleats stitched to the twill tape waist band on the half Slip. You will also be especially impressed with the boned CORSET which looks like it was made from the original La Poupée Modéle September 1871 pattern. The corset is stitched in blue forming the boning casings with hand embroidered detail near the top. This delicate piece is bound in matching blue silk ribbon trim around the top and bottom. Delicate eyelets enable the lacings to criss-cross and lace up the back looking absolutely exquisite. And, please note that the lacing strings have ample length to fit over even the largest derréire. Add, as well, a HOOP PETTICOAT included in this set and see how elegant your Lady's voluminous skirts display. This whimsical garment has been constructed in miniature for your little lady from the finest of twill tape and hooping material. The waist is fastened with a hook and loop closure. Additionally, you get to choose a pair of silk STOCKINGS to be included and complete your ensemble. The silk stockings are from a February 1872 La Poupée Modéle pattern which have been made to fit either Alice Leverett's Ultimate Fashion™body with her regal legs, OR the Seeleys French Lady LB90SP body with wider and heavier calves OR perhaps your antique French fashion with her delicate calves and shapely legs. Made of an exceptional quality of soft luxurious silk, these stockings are also available in either black or white and we ask that you please specify your desire.
