These cardboard pates are similar to the pates found on antique German dolls and are perfect for covering the head opening at the crown of the doll.The cardboard is very strong and doesn't easily collapse under pressure.Cardboard pates can easily be cut to the exact size your dolls need.These pates are most often used on dolls where the opening is primarily at the top of the head and are authentic for antique and antique reproduction dolls,but are also suitable for modern dolls.For dolls with a head opening which extends from the top of the head diagonally down toward the neck,try our cork pates (product number 4801).
