12" French Fashion Undergarments

The 12" French Fashion doll is capturing the popularity of the doll world. We are very excited to present a line of lingerie whose authenticity is as close as you will ever see to the French Fashion world of the 1800's.Designed by Barbara Devilbiss, each piece is based on the authentic La Poupée Modéle patterns and actual antique lingerie. Fits the Seeley FF body, Alice Leverett's Ultimate Fashion™ body, as well as an antique 12" leather bodied FF doll. Set contains a Chemise, Pantaloons, and a 1/2 Slip made of the finest Swiss white cotton batiste embellished with fine European lace from Switzerland. The lace trimmed Chemise neckline is closed with a pearl button, giving ample room to put the garment over your doll with ease. Matching fine pin tucks and French lace finish the bottom of the half Slip and Pantaloons. Both have hook and loop closures. Note especially the cartridge pleats stitched to the twill tape waist band on the half Slip. You will find the pattern for the Pantaloons in the September 1869 La Poupée Modéle Patterns. The matching Petticoat and Chemise are found in Theriault's Blondinette Deveranches reference book and in the Coleman's Encyclopedia of Doll costumes.
